Models of Universe with an inhomogeneous Big Bang singularity II. CMBR dipole anisotropy as a byproduct of a conic Big-Bang singularity

چکیده

The existence of stars and galaxies reqires cosmological models with an inhomogeneous matter and radiation distribution. But in these models the initial singularity surface t0(r) is in general homogeneous (independent of r). In this second paper of a series devoted to an inhomogeneous Big Bang singularity, we investigate the cosmic microwave background radiation (CMBR) dipole. A special Tolman-Bondi Universe is used to study the effect of a Big-Bang singularity, depending linearly on r, on the CMBR anisotropy. It is shown that, for an observer located off the “center” of this Universe (r = 0), the parameters of the model can be tuned so as to reproduce, with a good approximation, the dipole and the quadrupole moments of the CMBR anisotropy observed in recent experiments. If the dipole should prove cosmological, a slight delaying of the BigBang over spatial coordinates would thus be a good candidate for its interpretation.

Models of universe with a delayed big-bang singularity III. Solving the horizon problem for an off-center observer

This paper is the third of a series dedicated to the study of the Delayed Big-Bang (DBB) class of inhomogeneous cosmological models of Lemaı̂tre-Tolman-Bondi type. In the first work, it was shown that the geometrical properties of the DBB model are such that the horizon problem can be solved, without need for any inflationary phase, for an observer situated sufficiently near the symmetry center ...

Plane-symmetric Inhomogeneous Bulk Viscous Cosmological Models with Variable Λ

In recent years cosmological models exhibiting plane symmetry have attracted the attention of various authors. At the present state of evolution, the universe is spherically symmetric and the matter distribution in it is isotropic and homogeneous. But in its early stages of evolution, it could have not had a smoothed out picture. Close to the big bang singularity, neither the assumption of sphe...

Solving the Horizon Problem with a Delayed Big-bang Singularity

The hot Big-Bang standard model for the evolution of the universe, despite strong successes, lets unresolved a number of problems. One of its main drawbacks, known as the horizon problem, was until now thought to be only solvable by an inflationary scenario. Here is proposed a class of inhomogeneous models of universe, getting rid of some of the worst drawbacks of standard cosmology. The horizo...
